F1 2016 Calendar – Major Changes

The 2016 Calendar is still not confirmed but due to teams wanting an extended summer break and Singapore wanting a position away from Malaysia the season may not finish until December 11. Bernie Ecckestone, confirmed to Autosport, “we are moving Malaysia away from Singapore because the Singaporeans aren’t happy being back to back with Malaysia.”

Also the teams have demanded a 3 week shut down at summer, due to the long and stressful season.  This will mean the Belgian, Italian and Singapore GP’s will likely move a week back.
